About Antelope Valley Learning Academy
Antelope Valley Learning Academy (AVLA) offers FREE public home schooling and is enrolling year-round. Our free & flexible High School Diploma program is designed to help fit around your busy schedule so that you can graduate at your own pace.

Antelope Valley Learning Academy offers:
· FREE Tutoring: Every resource center has a tutor to help parents and students in those areas where extra support is needed. Our tutors work one-on-one and in small group settings.
· Job training through our Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act partnerships that allows our students to earn credit while investigating a potential new career.
· Technology Center: Free access to computers, printers, scanners and more for students.
· Enrichment Classes: Our enrichment classes are 6-week sessions focusing on different areas of student interest. Students are given the opportunity to engage in collaborative, hands-on activities with their peers.
· Field Trips – Field trips are organized by geographic region and are open to every student school wide. This year we are offering field trips to places like: Lombardi Ranch, the Griffith Park Observatory, The Museum of Tolerance, The California Science Center, and MORE.
· Academic Credit Recovery; you can return to a previous school and graduate with friends.
· One-on-one teacher/student mentorship; personalized learning plan to fit students’ individual needs
· Online Learning – Students have the option of taking some of their classes online.
