The APLUS+ Personalized Learning movement and Personalized Learning Network Association has become the leading and most recognized voice to inspire transformational change for 21st century education; transformation change that moves education delivery from a century-old, obsolete, factory assembly-line, one-size-fits-all delivery model to a service-based, student-centered, flexible model that adapts the how, what, when, and where of learning delivery to the needs, interests, and aspirations of each individual student.

Membership Opportunities

The APLUS+ Network Association offers three membership opportunities:

School Membership (Application review required)

Schools (and their authorized representatives) that qualify to join the APLUS+ Personalized Learning Network Association receive a wide array of membership services and benefits that assist them in attaining Personalized Learning academic excellence and operational efficiency and accountability.  

APLUS+ services and benefits are aligned with the following five primary school goals:

1.      Increase/Improve Academic Achievement

2.      Increase/Improve Operational Accountability

3.      Expand Student Learning Choices and Opportunities

4.      Expand Professional Development Opportunities

5.      Maintain Fiscal Sustainability

APLUS+ services that help schools achieve these goals include advocacy, consulting, sharing administrative and instructional best practices, regular ongoing networking, member discounts for outside services, partnering with affiliates, ongoing information dissemination, accessing the latest research reports, and more.

School APLUS+ Network memberships are effective for one year at a time and are aligned with the school’s fiscal year, from July 1st through June 30th of each year. Schools may join during the second semester of an academic year on a prorated basis, which is then coupled with the following full year.

To qualify for APLUS+ membership, applying schools must demonstrate a commitment to:

a.       The Personalized Learning model as it is defined by the Personalized Learning movement and the APLUS+ Personalized Learning Network Association

b.      High standards of academic excellence and operational accountability

Schools that wish to be considered for APLUS+ membership will be subject to review and approval by the APLUS+ Network Association Director and the APLUS+ Network Advisory Council.

Please allow 2-4 weeks for review and approval. APLUS+ school membership prices are based on the size of the school as determined by student enrollment.

Education Service and Resource Provider Membership
(aka, Preferred Partner; Application review required)

Education Service and Resource Providers (and their authorized representatives) that qualify to join the APLUS+ Personalized Learning Network Association receive a wide array of membership services and benefits that assist them in achieving ongoing exposure and accessibility to our member schools through promotional and networking strategies that help connect them regularly to school decision-makers.

Benefits include:

  • A showcase profile "advertisement" on the APLUS+ website for a full year, providing an "At a Glance" overview of your company and the products and services you offer

  • A prominently displayed link from your APLUS+ showcase profile directly to your website

  • Opportunities to distribute materials at all APLUS+ network regional and statewide meetings to all APLUS+ network members

  • Opportunities to forward regular announcements about your products and services through our network email listserve 

  • Opportunities to participate in APLUS+ network meetings and conferences

  • A table display or booth space at the annual APLUS+ Network Conference in October (conference registration is additional for each representative attending)

  • Inclusion in the APLUS+ Education Service and Resource Provider listserve

  • Access to the Education Service and Resource Provider member section on the APLUS+ website

  • Preferred service referrals to APLUS+ members for your specialized service areas

Education Service and Resource Provider APLUS+ network memberships are effective for a period of 12 months per contract from the date the APLUS+ membership services contract is signed.

Annual Education Service and Resource Provider APLUS+ Network membership fee levels are either $500 per year or $1,000 per year.

The $500 membership level includes all of the services and benefits listed above.

The $1,000 membership level includes all of the services and benefits listed above plus inclusion in the APLUS+ Network school listserve.

This additional service benefit enables Education Service and Resource Provider members to maintain a strong pulse and presence around all of the network issues facing schools over the course of the year, and can assist providers in tailoring their products and services to address critical issues currently facing member schools.

Education Service and Resource Provider membership payment is due upon signing the APLUS+ member contract and pledge of accountability.

To qualify for APLUS+ membership, applying Education Service and Resource Providers must demonstrate a commitment to:

a.       Providing services, products and/or resources that have a proven track record of benefitting Personalized Learning schools and/or an individualized learning model approach for students

b.      A positive track record as an organization that reflects high standards of customer service, quality products and resources, and ethical business practices

c.       Offering APLUS+ member schools with their best value possible for their products and services through member discount programs and other creative purchasing incentive opportunities.
