Services Overview

Total Education Solutions (TES) was founded in 1997 by Dr. Nancy Lavelle to
provide special education compliance and staffing solutions to public education agencies including public, charter and private schools.

Reaching out to public agencies, TES received certification by the California State Department of Education (CDE) as a Non-Public Agency (NPA) .

TES meets the public school demand for licensed or credentialed special
education personnel by aggressively recruiting, training and obtaining
credentials, certification or licenses for special education professionals
representing twelve disciplines.

The most typical being; Special Education Administrators, Teachers, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, School Psychologists, School Nurses, Behavior Intervention Specialists, and Adapted Physical Education Specialists.

TES offers five types of special education compliance and staffing solutions:

Special Education Administrative Services
· Compliance management, oversight and review
· Obtaining special education records; managing files, timelines, schedules
· Individual Education Plan (IEP) development, meeting management, attendance
· Consultation with regular education teachers on accommodation
· In-service training/development of student success team
· Coordination with parents, administrators, general educators, service providers

Special Education Instruction
· Resource Specialist Program
· Special day classes
· Pre-post testing to establish baseline and progress data
· Establishment/monitoring of individual goals and objectives
· Progress reporting, as required

Psychological-Education Services 

· Conduct initial, re-evaluations, and triennial assessments
· Determine level of functioning for the development of an initial IEP or to evaluate the   annual or three year IEP progress
· Assessments conducted by licensed and/or credentialed personnel

Designated Instructional Services
· Speech and Language Therapy;  Occupational Therapy; Adaptive
  Physical Education; Physical Therapy; Vision Therapy;  services for the Deaf and   Hard of Hearing and school nursing services
· Pre-post testing to establish baseline and progress data
· Establishment/monitoring of individual goals and objectives
· Progress Reporting, as required

Behavioral Intervention Services

· One to one classroom support; specific intervention strategies such as discrete trial   training, floor time, play therapy, and sensory-motor therapy
· Functional Analysis Assessments
· Pre-post testing to establish baseline and progress data
· Establishment of Behavior Intervention Plans
· Establishment of individual goals and objectives
· Progress Reporting, as required
