About Write from the Heart

Write from the Heart teaches English and Language Arts by blending creativity and academic rigor. Students learn to think deeply and write meaningfully, guided by real teachers, purposeful technology, and authentic connection.  Products include online classes, printed curriculum, and live tutoring.   In our online classes, we use an interactive classroom modeled after college-level online learning: students log in on their own schedule, but they are never working alone. Our coaches are available daily and our courses have deadlines that allow for meaningful interactions without having to be stuck in a scheduled call or chat. Designed for 6-12th graders, Write from the Heart helps every writer find their voice.

Summary of Products and Services:

• Annual Classes: 30-week, full-credit courses built around daily classroom engagement, peer interaction, and individualized coaching.
• AP English approved by the College Board: Prepare for both AP® English exams in a single course. Our students outperform the national average every year.
• Semester Classes: Focused, instructor-guided writing instruction in a flexible format. Each semester is built from three one-month units. Take them back-to-back or spread them across the year. Start any month you choose.
• Workshop Classes: Short, focused classes designed to build a specific writing skill in four weeks.  Start the first Monday of any month.
• Write to Publish: Whether you want to write a novel, memoir, or collection, we provide the coaching, the structure, and the professional editing to make it happen.  Our classes take students from first idea to published book.
• Printed Curriculum: Everything you need to teach writing confidently at home or in the classroom.  Options range from creative writing to essays to resume writing.

Tutoring: Our coaches are degreed professionals with 25+ years of experience.  We offer revision help via email, half-hour conferences on specific projects, and hour-long ongoing tutoring support.
