About Antelope Valley Learning Academy, Powered by Learn4life
AV Learning Academy is a Free TK-8 public homeschool program where parents can ensure their children are taught the way that they learn best. AVLA is a WASC accredited school and all courses are A-G approved.
Our program offers:
- Enrolled AVLA students are provided with a school-issued laptop computer to bring home and complete coursework.
- All students are taught individually in a home-based setting by the parent(s) with support from a California credentialed teacher.
- AVLA Staff and Teachers are available to answer day-to-day questions, work through conceptual problems with students and help parents tackle any instructional challenges that may arise.
- Free tutoring (on-site) and virtual tutoring is available to all students.
AV Academy High School is enrolling year-round at NO COST to you. Our unique, flexible and free high school diploma program is designed to help fit around your busy schedule so that you can graduate at your own pace.
Our program offers:
- A clean & safe environment for students.

- California Common Core Standard aligned curriculum.
- Academic credit recovery; return to a previous school and graduate with friends.
- One-on-one teacher mentoring; personalized and flexible learning plans to fit each students’ individual needs
