About Art of Problem Solving

Overview

Since 1993, Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) has helped train the next generation of intellectual leaders. Hundreds of thousands of our students have gone on to attend prestigious universities, win global math competitions, and achieve success in highly competitive careers.

AoPS develops educational resources for motivated students in grades 1-12, including textbooks, an accredited online school, and a suite of engaging and enriching online applications and software.

We build the resources we wish we had when we were students.

Math Curriculum

Our core mathematics curriculum has been designed for outstanding math students in grades 5-12. Our texts and online courses offer broader, deeper, and more challenging instruction than most other other curricula.

Beast Academy

Beast Academy helps students ages 6‑13 build their problem-solving skills while learning elementary math concepts. Students learn new topics from the graphic-novel-style Guide Books, and then master these topics by solving engaging problems and challenging puzzles in our Practice Books. Beast Academy can be used either as a set of physical books, as an Online program (which also offers access to videos and chapter tests), or as a mix of both.

Virtual Campus

Our Virtual Campus offers rigorous live online courses taught by highly accomplished instructors. Students can choose from a variety of engaging math and language arts courses, with sections offered year round to suit any schedule.
